#998: The World Trade Center's Sphere

In the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the visibly damaged metallic structure was recovered from the World Trade Center's pile of rubble.  It was re-erected as a monument, with an eternal flame, and dedicated to the 9/11 victims.

The Sphere now stands as a poignant symbol of our nation's resiliency.
